About the Event
Since 2022, The Women's Premier Basketball Association (WPBA) has been supporting its mission to elevate women's basketball, while decreasing the generational wealth gap and monumentally increasing upward mobility, economic development, educational, health access & equity, financial literacy opportunities for the athletes and communities it proudly serves.
The Inaugural WPBA Foundation Benefit Gala will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6pm - 10pm at the Silicon Valley Holiday Inn Grand Ballroom, 1350 North 1st Street, San Jose, CA.
The evening will include a one hour cocktail hour with team VIPs, including Hall of Fame NBA and WNBA Players and Coaches, including WPBA Advisors 9x NBA All Star & NBA Champion, Gary "The Glove" Payton, WNBA All-Star Chasity Melvin, and NBA Basketball Former First Round Draft Pick and 11 - Year Veteran Kenny Thomas.
